The Civics Education Network is dedicated to improving political education in Ontario by supporting teachers and students of civics and politics across the province. Our programming is designed to support the excellent work already being done in our public schools.
ideaLABThe Civics Education Network's ideaLAB has a very simple, yet exciting mandate: to explore new and innovative ways to advance civic knowledge and action both inside and outside of the school environment. Put simply, ideaLAB is the umbrella project for our initiatives to expand the way that we teach civics and politics across the province. ideaLAB events will include panel discussions, speaking events, workshops, conferences and commissioned writing projects. Each will look at a new way to tackle the problems we have in youthful community engagement. Check this space regularly for announcements about new ideaLAB events.
